New Students

 

 

If you desire to attend Calvary Chapel Bible College-Downey Affiliate, you should submit an application for admission.  If you are planning to attend for the purpose of earning a degree, three personal references will be required (forms-provided by the Bible College).

The application and reference forms may be obtained by writing or calling the Calvary Chapel Bible College-Downey Affiliate office, 12808 Woodruff Ave., Downey, CA, 90242, (562) 803-5621. You may also download a copy from our website and print it out under our downloads section.

Admission decisions are made by our Admissions Review Board on the basis of the following:
1. Spiritual Maturity: Information contained in the application, including the student’s personal profile sketch, spiritual life profile, and statement of faith.

2. Personal Recommendations: Recommendations from three sources, one of which should be a pastor.

3. Academic Preparedness: Evidence of completion of high school, a G.E.D. program, or California High School Proficiency exam. (The Certificate of Completion program is intended for the non high school graduate.)

Once all of the application materials have been received, the student usually receives a decision within seven to ten days.  Because of the time required to process an application, we request that students submit their applications no later than ten working days prior to registration.
