Programs of Study

Certificate of Completion

This program was designed for the student who does not hold a high school diploma, or who has learning or language difficulties which prevent him or her from succeeding at college level work. The student takes all of the required courses, but registers for them on a Pass/Fail basis. The student must receive a grade of “P” in a total of 80 credit units. An Education Agreement is available to those students without their high school diploma or GED who wish to earn an Associate or Bachelor Degree. This agreement must be signed by the student at enrollment and simply states that the student agrees to earn their GED within one year of enrolling in their first semester. If interested, please notify the registrar.

Associate in Theology

This program is for the student who has successfully completed high school or a GED program or its equivalent, but does not have the minimum transferable units required for the Bachelor’s Degree program. Bachelor in Biblical Studies

The Bachelor of Biblical Studies is a four year program consisting of 80 semester units of Biblical Studies, combined with 60 semester units of general education. Students must take all the required courses and pass them with a grade of “C-” or better. Students who have completed at least two years of transferable general education may transfer 60 semester units, and must submit official transcripts showing the completed general education courses.

Auditing Classes

These are classes which are audited for personal enrichment and are not applied toward the completion of a certificate or degree. Students who choose to audit classes are required to be in attendance no less than 70% of all class sessions. Students are not required to complete any of the class assignments but are encouraged to do so. Students auditing classes will be graded “AU” or “UA” based on their attendance.
