"SHARING IN ALL THINGS"
In This Section
“Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul,              neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common”  Acts 4:32.

As you all know, our country’s economy is in trouble, and even our personal
finances are hurting.  This is the same problem the Early Church experienced.  Jesus spoke often about giving and He questioned where our treasure lies.

A great example of this is found in Luke 21:1-4.  We find the widow giving out of her poverty and not of her abundance.  I saw this happen right before my eyes this holiday season.  During our tough times, people realized something:  There are people who need help.  They may have said, “I can’t give much, but what I do give, I give to the glory of God”.

This season, everyone had the same heart.  We had more food in our Helps Food Pantry than any other year.  We (the Church Body) were able to minister to more families than ever before.  It’s not how much you give, it’s how you give - from the heart.

God bless you all,
