Complete in Him

“And you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.”
Colossians 2:10
People are always looking for something to complete them. What are you looking for? Some believe
money will complete them. For others it may be a degree, a career, a house, a family, or perhaps
some sort of valuable contribution to society. Many in our society, and even in the church, believe
that a spouse is what completes them. Prior to marriage we are some sort of “half-person” walking
around waiting for our other half to appear. If you have obtained any of these things listed above
you know that none of them truly completes you. Only one thing can complete us in this universe
and it is Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the most beautiful person in the world; He is love, light, holiness,
justice, mercy, grace, comfort and much more. When we receive the work of Christ on the cross we
don’t just get to talk to this wonderful God way up in heaven, He comes and lives within us. We
are complete when we are fellowshipping with Him, relying upon Him, allowing Him to minister to
us and allowing Him to live through us. Are you complete in Christ this morning?
