PASTORS PERSPECTIVE

Having VISION For Our Future

Our school theme this year is out of Proverbs 29:18 “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keeps the Word, happy is he.”

In the Bible, there are many instances when we are reminded of the importance of having a good and clear Vision. Habakkuk 2:2 says: “Then the Lord said to me, Write the vision. Make it clear on tablets so that anyone can read it easily.”

What does having a VISION really mean and how does this apply to me?

The Living Bible version says: “When people do not accept divine guidance, they run wild. But whoever obeys the law is joyful.” Another version says it like this: “When there is no knowledge of God, the people are unrestrained. But how great is the nation that knows and fulfills the laws of God. “ So, you see, having VISION is to see what God sees, to clearly see things that God puts in our hearts and work on making them a reality.

Vision is important because it gives you purpose and direction. Without vision, people have no purpose, no destination, no direction. Having a vision will make you want to jump out of bed every morning. There is nothing better than to know that He created you to fulfill a purpose and achieve great things.

Please join me in praying for our school this year as we go through the book of Genesis and get our kids, parents, and staff, excited and ask God to help us all aim for the biggest and most extraordinary VISION of our life, because that will become our future.

In Jesus’ love, until He comes,
