Tito Lampon

Missions Pastor / Spanish Ministry

Born and raised in the Caribbean – Puerto Rico.

Through my teenage years, I was involved in the hippy culture. When I went to college at 16 years old, was when I met the Lord and there was when I discovered the fullness of the Holy Spirit in the Jesus People Movement church called “the Catacombs”. At 18 years old, I began to pursue a committed relationship with my Savior, we started a bible study with others young people in July of 1972. Many people heard about the bible study and they were coming to hear what was going on. Many of them, touched by the Holy Spirit gave their life to Jesus.

In 1985, I married the most precious women that I have ever met – Nina, when I was in college in my younger years. She has been an incredible companion to me and a joy to be with.

In 2002, came from Calvary Chapel in North Florida to Calvary Chapel Downey. I have two children, Jesse & Lisa, who graduated from CC Downey School. Every day, my wife and I are blown away at God’s wonderful mercy towards sinners like us. A verse that has ministered to me so much over the years is Psalm 73:25-26, “Whom have I in heaven but you? And besides you, I desire nothing on earth. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever".

By God’s grace, I oversee the Mission Department and Spanish Translation ministry. Also work as an assistant pastor of the Spanish ministry at CC Downey. Always remember that: “Cristo te Ama”.
