THE PROMISE OF REST
Grace is more than what saved us in the past, it’s the power that saves and shapes us today. Titus 2:11–15 reminds us that the grace of God has “appeared” in the person of Jesus Christ, offering salvation to all. This grace is a gift, unearned and undeserved. You can’t grow in grace until you’ve been saved by it.
But grace doesn’t stop at salvation. It teaches us. Grace trains us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires while pursuing a life of righteousness, and godliness. In a world with so many distractions, grace is the teacher that guides us toward a Christ-centered life. And we live this way with eyes set on the “blessed hope”, the glorious return of Jesus.
Finally, grace purifies. Jesus gave Himself not just to forgive sin, but to redeem us from it and set us apart as His own special people, zealous for good works. As recipients of this grace, we are called to reflect Christ in our devotion and our actions.
So today, don’t just remember grace but actively live in it, let it shape your life.
In Christ,
